My Loki Helmet that I have been creating has came to a halt for a few days, hence why no photos have gone up of progress. Coursework and running out of materials mean i was unable to do any work on it for now. Plus I decided the horns didn't look right so I sawed them off and into bits to give them more of a curve. 

Try and be patient and I promise it will be done :D 
Plus I have a surprise after It's been completed!!

Loki's Crown

Due to my new found love of Loki and The Avengers I have decided to create Loki's crown for Comic Con in Autumn 2013, Hopefully it will be done in time and will look pretty darn good.

All the photos of various points in devlopment will be uploaded onto my DA, so be sure to keep coming back to see the updates on the Crown.

First time making a prop or 3D model of any sort so wish me all luck!!

My Perfect Game

My perfect game has to be an action/adventure free roaming game that incoporates various other styles within it, fro instance driving and flying impliments within the game to mix it up. Due to the lack of good third person shooters, and the enjoyment of Uncharted series and the unreleased The Last of Us, my game would need to have the option to switch in and out of first person shooter to whichever the player feels most comfortable, or be most sensible for the point of attack/defence.

The game would be set in a post apocalyptic world where survival was key, nothing is generous, so therefore everything would be precious whether it would be to forge into a weapon or to create a splint or bandage after being injured. Scaling stairs of deserted skyscrapers in points of the game would present a really essence of lonliness however the main protagonist my be joined by others and tag along through various points in the adventure.

The characters would have to be mature and serious to fit with the nature of the game, however, also through in a couple of cheap gags here and there to lighten the mood every once in a while, the characters involved will be ranging in age/race and gender.

The enemy throughout the game will vary, sometimes wild, rabid animals will be fought amongst cityscapes/urban jungles/deserted towns or abondoned roads/railways. which wouldn't require much of a fight but possibly essential for survival due to meat or pelts of fur. Others could however possess more of a threat, rival gangs who survived the apocalypse, other survivors (which could be convinced as valuble teammates) and also the creatures that caused the near extinction of man kind. However, with greater threats mean greater loots, so these enemies may not always be a bad thing at a rough time.

The scenery ecountered throughout the game will vary as the main characters journey across the deserted wasteland which was once hospitable, the land will vary from roads under foot to fields to woodland, different items will be found in many different areas so exploration is strongly advised to create the best sort of survival gear. The most effective landscapes though would need to be the city areas, cars left abandoned on highways would create a real sense of atmosphere and a great place to loot cars and other vehicles such as lorries and army vehicles which once tried to reach the carnage, however, it may also present a great hideout for the creatures and animals which freely roam around. within the main areas of the city houses and scrapers would be free to roam around but contain more AI controlled mobs which try to attack you or loot you of your supplies. But areas like these may contain the best loot, gasoline from gas stations, madical supplies from hospitals, weapons from various rooms.

Weapons within the game would be 'different' firearms would be very scarce and most likely aquired from taking out other survivors/looters, and even with firearms bullets are very rare to come across so these become LAST RESORTS. Melee weapons fashioned from anything big, blunt, sharp, heavy enough within the environment are the way forward. Metal Poles, bricks, shards of glass strapped to sticks, hammers, molotovs fashioned from gasoline/alcohol from bars would provide easy ranged combat as well as bricks.

Cars could also be hijacked and driven (once gasoline is acquired)   to roam freely but fast around the environment but could attract a lot attention to enemies within the vicinity.

A musical score would need to be to set the atmosphere of the game, and i think more of a horror game would suit this alot more, fast paced, intense, keeps you on edge in that all impotant sneak on an unsuspecting enemy. I think a soundtrack from a game series like the resistance would fit the post apocolyptic theme and give a nice touch to the game.
